Local theatre troupe House of Ithaqua is producing Martin McDonagh’s “The Pillowman” at Risley Theatre this month, and it opens tonight with showings through next weekend.

The original impulse was also towards supernatural darkness, but now has landed more on the darkness of the everyday. Straddling those two poles is HOI’s latest venture, “The Pillowman” by Martin McDonagh, opening this Thursday at Risley Theatre.
